Anyone interested in history, regardless of nationality, is welcome to join.

Member benefits

  1. Distribution of The East Asian Journal of British History: As the above-mentioned academic journal is a peer-reviewed professional journal open to the world, members do not have priority for publication.

  2. Information on attending conferences (The Korean-Japanese Conference of British History), workshops, lectures, and seminars organized by academic societies, or subsidies for young researchers' participation.

  3. Providing information on research meetings, lectures, and seminars organized by the Kanade Bunko Historical Research Institute Library, or offering subsidies for young researchers' participation.

  4. We provide a platform for the exchange of information on British history. In particular, we issue letters of introduction to universities, research institutes, and historians in the UK and South Korea.

The annual membership fee is 3,000 yen for regular members, 1,000 yen for student members, and 50,000 yen for lifetime members. After registering for membership, please transfer the membership fee to the account listed below.
